Vivian Scott, 85, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on October 22, 2024. She entered this world on October 19, 1939, in Ponca City, OK, born to Delmar Paul and Hazel Novella Heinze Stebens.
Graveside memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, with Pastor Jake Giger officiating in the Newkirk City Cemetery, with Miller Stahl Funeral home in care of the arrangements.
Vivian grew up in Ponca City, OK graduating with the Class of 1957. She met Ronald Scott, and they were married on July 21, 1961 in Newkirk. They lived a very brief time in Ponca City before moving to their farm in Newkirk, OK, where they remained the rest of their lives. Vivian was a member of the Happy Hilltop Homemakers Club. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, spending time with her family, camping, reading, crocheting and being a fan of the St Louis Cardinals.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Leah McCombs and husband Eric, and Rhonda Stephens and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Laci Bemo and husband, Cody, Lacey Allen and husband Christian and Tyler McCombs and wife, Danielle; and great grandchildren, Layla Drager and Weston Allen all of Newkirk, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and the Blue Haven family.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald and one son Troy. Also, two brothers, Leonard Stebens and Jack Stebens, and two sisters, Joanne Stebens Wallace, and Frances Stebens VanHoesen.
