Sharon Goddard Lubbers, 69, beloved Wife, mother, and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on January 11, 2024. She entered this world on August 20, 1954, in Kansas City, KS, born to Gould Willis Pidcock and Bernice D. Wiemer Pidcock.
A Celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, in the Rise up Church with Pastor Clayton Pappan officiating. inurnment will follow in the Newkirk City Cemetery under the care of Miller Stahl Funeral Home of Newkirk, OK.
Sharon met the love of her life, Billy Goddard, and they were married in 1972 and he preceded her in death. Sharon was fortunate to find love again and she married Randy Lubbers on July 7, 2011, and they made Wichita, KS their home. When Sharon was working, she was a Home Health Aid for numerous years. Sharon enjoyed spoiling her Grandkids, attending seven clans casino, collecting John Wayne memorabilia and watching Gunsmoke.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Randy Lubbers of the Home, Daughter; Debbie Wood and husband Jesse of Blackwell, OK Daughter in law, Lenette Goddard of Braman, OK, Bonus Son and daughter, Joe Lubbers and wife Nichol and Christy Lubbers all of Wichita, KS, grandchildren, Dalton Goddard, Michael Redding, Matthew Redding, Megan Goddard, Taytum Goddard, Colt Lubbers, and Kimber Lubbers, also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Billy Goddard, one son, Brian Goddard, one brother, Billy Pidcock, two sisters, Ruth Martin, Shirley Lowery, and one niece, Ruth Martin.
