Judith (Judy) Summit

Judith (Judy) Elaine Summitt, 73, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Ponca City, Oklahoma.  She was born on December 16, 1947 in Winfield, Kansas to Gilbert Lee Thomson and Florence Aldeene (Mowder) Thomson.  Judy married Billy Dean Summitt Sr on January 14, 1992 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  Judy lived in the Muldrow, Oklahoma area for 20+ years before moving to Ponca City to be closer to her family.   She enjoyed camping, fishing, swimming, BINGO, and loved horse racing.

Judy is survived by her husband, Billy Dean Summitt Sr of the home, her children; Joyce Sliter and husband, Russell of Wichita, KS, Jeffery McNickle and wife, Tamara of Gallatin, MO, Julie Eskridge and husband, Paul of Coweta OK, Janet McNickle Eastman and Jim Valliere of Broken Arrow, OK, Brandon Zimmerman and wife, Holly of Ponca City, OK, Greg Summitt and wife, Shelly of Newkirk, OK. Clinton Summitt and wife, Loretta of Newkirk, OK; her Siblings Linda Wolff of Sallisaw OK, Barbara Schultz and husband, Brad of Oxford, KS; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Thomson; mother Florence Aldeene Thomson; siblings, Gilbert Lee Jr, Mary Bruner, and Margaret Carroll; step son, Billy Dean Summitt Jr; great grandson, Michael Ryan McNickle Jr.
